The Lab Service Training Engineer is responsible for new hire and ongoing training and educational support of the Lab Service & Support team. The training will focus on installation, calibration, and maintenance, and troubleshooting for all clinical laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Primary service responsibilities include installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of all clinical laboratory equipment. This includes both simple (e.g. shakers) and complex instrumentation (e.g. liquid handling robotics). Primary training responsibilities include prepare, conduct, and evaluate technical training program for service team. The individual is expected to spend 70% of time as a trainer and will continuously work with other Lab Service Engineers (LSE) and the clinical laboratory team to ensure proper instrument function and troubleshoot any system concerns. Responsible for ad-hoc projects as assigned.
