Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Marketing Intern will assist in the development of provider and patient-facing product and promotional materials and campaigns for Cologuard.  The position is intended to be a full-time opportunity for an undergraduate pursuing a career in business or communications to obtain hands-on experience in product development, promotional campaigns, and other cross-functional projects while contributing to the on-going efforts to increase awareness and utilization of Cologuard by healthcare providers and patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop content for patient or provider-facing communications from Exact Sciences, including website, social media channels, marketing campaigns, or customer experience initiatives
  • Analyze internal data for business trends and customer insights, as well as cost-saving opportunities
  • Evaluate data-sharing opportunities across multiple audience/customer channels
  • Research colorectal cancer screening guidelines and evaluate opportunities to maximize engagement with key strategic partners
  • Support other projects as needed for brand marketing, customer experience, strategic partnerships, and product/lifecycle marketing

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Education and Experience

 

  • Enrollment towards Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sales, market research, or other related business fields.
  • Preference giving to candidates with a record of outstanding academic achievement

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to lift up to 25lbs on an infrequent basis up to 20% of the time.
