Summary of Major Responsibilities

Exact Sciences is seeking an experienced social media leader to execute an online communication strategy using a cross-section of platforms, notably by engaging key audiences at the Cologuard and Exact Sciences properties. The individual will implement the company’s social media strategy by identifying needs and new opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement, partnerships, and enhance the customer experience.

This role will communicate between multiple internal functions to maximize the impact and reach of the company’s online content. This individual will bring a deep understanding for web technologies, user experience, social media measurement, and brand strategy, notably in a highly-regulated environment.

 

This individual should be able to effectively connect our corporate and Cologuard brands, and future products with our online customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Exact Sciences and Cologuard social media channels, including Facebook pages, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn;
  • Work closely with Marketing and Corporate Affairs team to develop and maintain brand standards and guidelines for social properties across divisions of the company;
  • Establish key performance indicators for social media properties and monitor and report on the effectiveness of campaigns for each platform;
  • Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends;
  • Expand and maintain Exact Sciences stakeholder relationships through social media interaction;
  • Work closely with regulatory, medical affairs and compliance teams to develop process for responding to user comments on social media platforms in real time
  • Keep up-to-date with our audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns;
  • Stay attune to digital technologies developments and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of experience developing and executing social media strategies, generating engagement and managing or leading online media campaigns;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with common business software (MS Office, Adobe) and ability to use YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.;
  • Experience in collecting and distilling actionable plans through web and social media metrics;
  • Demonstrable experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software;
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in strategizing and implementing targeted social and digital programs;
  • A proven track record of collaboration across multiple functions in a fast-moving, high-growth professional environment;
  • A record of success in social media, digital marketing, and/or brand strategy;
  • Experience in developing and implementing paid social media strategies
  • Experience leveraging high-quality videos via online and social media channels.
