Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will work with the New Products team to complete a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analyses to help inform new product strategy. As a fast growing company, there is ample opportunity for growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the new products team as they make key strategic decisions
  • Prepare presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Build and maintain models to support fact-based decision making with regards to long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research to aid the evaluation and positioning of new products
  • Build models to assist in the evaluation of new products and in strategic decision making
  • Effectively communicate findings to Leadership
  • Analyze new product markets and help determine early commercialization strategies

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Business or Finance
  • At least two year of business experience (including internships)
  • Strong analytical skills, business intuition, and organizational ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to operate in a cross cultural and complex matrix environment, and ability to build consensus across functions
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adaptable, open to change and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience as an analyst in investment banking, consulting, or other position requiring strategic analysis
  • Advanced skills in Powerpoint and/or Excel
  • Exposure to data analytics, particularly with software such as Tableau

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an office setting, operate a telephone system, and a computer
