  • Summary of Major Responsibilities

    The Service Operations Analyst able to gathers important service incident data and instrument performance data and compiles it into in-depth reports. This position will represent the service organization on projects and deliver results that will make the organization more profitable. The Analyst must work collaboratively with cross functional team members on multiple projects simultaneously and translate the data into digestible information that improves the service teams’ processes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work with Service Operations management team to identify and prioritize business needs of the service team.
    • Manage field actions and upgrade tracking to completion of effected instruments
    • Interpret data and create models that depict trends in the installed instrument base
    • Work with departmental managers to outline the specific needs for each project
    • Identify and analyze trends in service data to recommend and generate easy-to-interpret reports utilizing MS Office
    • Create and maintain routine and ad hoc reporting for technical teams, as well as senior management review
    • Use statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes
    • Participate on department and cross-functional projects to support the needs of the service organization

    Qualifications

    Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

    • Ability to work effectively with management and part of a team to meet targets
    • Strong attention to detail
    • High-level math skills and the ability to translate mathematical information into concise reports

    Necessary Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Computer Science
    • 4+ years of experience as business data analyst

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Experience working in CAP, CLIA, GLP or other regulated environment
    • Experience with Sprocket Solutions ERP
    • Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Asset Management in S/4 HANA

    Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

    • Ability to work in an office setting, operate a telephone system, and a computer.
