The Advocacy and Alliance Relations Director will lead the company’s relationships and interactions with leading medical organizations, advocacy groups, scientific guideline review committees and quality measurement bodies. This leadership role will develop, launch and manage campaigns that engage advocacy groups and build and maintain long-term, substantive relationships with such groups and other organizations that share our interest of helping reduce cancer mortality through innovations in screening and early detection.
As a cornerstone of the Corporate Affairs team, s/he will work closely with Exact Sciences Marketing, Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Legal and Regulatory colleagues to lead the development of an annual comprehensive advocacy and alliance development strategy and tactical plan to advance the organization’s objectives. This includes ensuring team members are fully aligned on our corporate priorities, understanding third party priorities, and guiding team members in the execution of a strategy. S/he will ensure Exact Sciences is viewed as a partner of choice throughout the cancer prevention community.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, s/he will bring a deep understanding of how to work effectively and efficiently with advocacy groups to promote the company’s interests for cancer screening and prevention.
