  • Summary of Major Responsibilities

    The IT Vendor Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for IT Vendors. This role assists in aligning IT’s overall strategic, financial and project goals to mitigate risks and improve price efficiencies. They will drive long-term value and innovation from strategic vendors as well as build, maintain and improve positive relationships with vendors and internal partners, such as IT leadership, Finance and Legal. Leading as an IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) resource on IT projects, the IT Vendor Coordinator will forecast vendor involvement and report regularly to IT leadership to develop key metrics and critical metrics relating to scorecards, spend/savings, SLA’s, opportunities, risks, etc.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for IT vendors
    • Identify and mitigate billing issues by working directly with vendors and finance teams
    • Manage contract onboarding process for vendors
    • Work directly with vendors and finance teams to consolidate efforts
    • Lead requisition process for IT and IT vendors
    • Interface with accounts payable to support and resolve requisitions and billing issues
    • Support IT project teams with sourcing
    • Support the budget and financial reporting processes
    • Assist with meeting coordination and logistics as needed


    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
    • 4+ years of vendor management experience in IT including licensing, procurement, and outsourcing agreements related to hardware, software, maintenance, services, infrastructure, cloud, voice and data
    • Shown success in leading complex vendor relationships and effective negotiation skills applying various strategies and techniques
    • Excellent analysis and reporting skills is a requirement
    • Full proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook); Excel expert
