The technical business analyst is an active thought partner who contributes to shaping the technology demand among the Exact Sciences business community.
The technical business analyst acts as an intermediary between IT project teams and business partners to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. The technical business analyst functions as the stakeholders’ advocate by providing objective evidence that system and application requirements are met.
This role will support the business functional areas that include logistics, distributions and the company’s electronic data interchange systems (EDI) used in our order management system. They are responsible for analyzing and designing specifications used for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces, and mappings. They will coordinate all EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades. Additionally, the EDI business analyst facilitates communication business any data-trading partners to service existing EDI interfaces and ensure compliance to guidelines and specifications for data exchange.
