  • Summary of Major Responsibilities

    The Peer to Peer Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing strategies & tactics within the peer to peer channel. This role will build HCP marketing materials and collateral, peer to peer content and educational programs. They will collaborate with Medical & Operations to lead speaker training and program execution.


    The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding collaboration and project management skills including the ability to manage without authority, communicate complex clinical information effectively with, medical professionals, field-based teams and external agency partners, as well as manage budgets.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead marketing strategy and tactics for peer to peer channel. Partner with medical & agency to develop clinical content for the channel. Become the scientific expert for the brand.
    • Lead speaker creative and content.
    • Plan, coordinate and lead speaker program execution at symposiums, product theaters, regional & national broadcasts.
    • Plan & coordinate ongoing speaker engagement & training opportunities for speakers, such as webinars, in-person meetings, and live speaker programs.
    • Ensure coordinated efforts for training of field force partnering with Sales Effectiveness team & Sales Leadership.
    • Provide day-to-day oversight of external agency partners and manage the budget.
    • Develop marketing materials to recruit attendees and promotional resources needed for the channel.
    • Collaborate with congress lead to ensure seamless execution of speaker programs at regional & national congresses.
    • Collaborate with Commercial Analytics team to ensure appropriate analytical plans are developed and measurement of promotional program effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI.
    • Collaborate with personal promotion lead to determine the development of tactics for specialty sales force and inside sales representatives.
    • Any supervisory responsibilities.
    • Ability to travel approximately 25% of working time.
    • Regular and reliable attendance.
    • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (life science, engineering, marketing, business, or related field of study).
    • Minimum of five years of commercial experience (e.g. marketing, sales, new product planning, reimbursement, etc.) working in or closely with KOLs & field force.
    • Ability to motivate and lead teams of cross-functional resources in a matrixed organization with competing priorities, with or without direct authority or reporting relationships.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize strategies, initiatives and workload proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Exceptional project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization and troubleshooting.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
    • Strong marketing/business acumen and ability to process complex clinical information.
    • Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations with some direction and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances.
    • Experienced in Microsoft Office products.
    • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or MS in relevant field.
    • Diagnostic/device/pharmaceutical marketing, sales, and/or healthcare reimbursement experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to present to and influence senior leadership (VP level).
    • Previous experience working with KOLs and ability to process complex clinical information.
