  • Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Learning Experience Designer has a strong eye for visual design and will create learning solutions that meet the needs of the modern learner, incorporates the best of design thinking and are delivered via the most effective media (i.e., classroom, bite-sized learning, learning-on-demand). 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Partner with the Organizational Development team and SMEs to recommend the best format for delivering learning solutions based on objectives and desired outcomes
    • Design strategies to engage learners from infographics, e-learning, and social learning to job aides, role plays and gamification
    • Assist in the selection of appropriate learning technologies to aid in delivery of learning solutions (i.e., WalkMe, Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Sketch, SharePoint)
    • Develop and maintain visual and instructional design standards for learning solutions across the organization
    • Engage and interact with key stakeholders to pilot and validate learning experience methodologies
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies (such as AI) to ensure learning solutions stay relevant and impactful
    • Assist in the evaluation of learning solutions and data collection related to key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of organizational development strategies and plans


    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business, education, instructional design, marketing, communications, graphic design or equivalent experience (i.e. certifications)
    • 3 plus years of relevant professional experience (i.e. human resources, instructional design or organizational development)
    • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies, the needs of the modern learners as consumers of information and current trends impacting organizational development
    • Proficiency is a variety of computer software applications, including but not limited to PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
    • Ability to convert information into easily used and understood text and graphics
    • Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively connect with others; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to provide examples of instructional design work
