The Sr Automation Engineer R&D will develop and deploy robust laboratory automation solutions for Next-Generation Sequencing based assays in support of high complexity laboratory developed tests. This position will utilize technical skills, with oversight, to participate in conceiving, planning, and executing research and development activities to achieve project goals. The successful candidate has experience working a collaborative, fast-paced team to build scalable, highly integrated automation platform which enable users to reliably and efficiently deliver timely, high-quality results in a regulated environment.

The Senior Bioinformatics Scientist will coordinate the work to support product requirements and internal customer demands regarding in-the-cloud complex bioinformatics pipelines, with a focus on cloud-based analysis of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data for biomarker detection and product development.
This position will conduct and supervise the implementation of algorithms and tools into NGS analysis pipelines. This position will help to identify and resolve existing deficiencies in our current NGS pipeline infrastructure with the assistance and support of Bioinformaticians and Technology department.
This position also entails partnering with Product Development, Clinical Development and Regulatory teams on study design planning, data preparation, programming, analysis and result interpretation, and to collaborate with Technology team and gather requirements from Product Development to integrate validated algorithms into software products.
The IT Application Manager is responsible for delivering technology capabilities for our corporate intranet platform. This involves supporting and maintaining the platform and integrations, delivering new capabilities to support business needs and enabling business strategy. This role must understand the internal communications, digital workplace and employee engagement business strategy, business processes, solution architecture, and maintain broader knowledge of information technology’s (IT) enterprise technology architecture. The IT Application Manager is responsible for ensuring that the intranet platform and integrations are maintained in a manner that is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and security standards.
The Manager, Facilities Services will work closely with the Facilities Department and its stakeholders to establish and manage adequate facilities services to support Exact Sciences’ business plans. This role will maintain relationships with key stakeholders at each of the facilities soliciting feedback, assessing needs, and managing requests to completion. The Manager, Facilities Services will provide and direct efficient and effective management of vendors, contractors, and Facilities Services staff providing contracted services at all Exact Sciences facilities, focusing on cost, quality, sustainability, and ensuring contract compliance. In addition, this position will support Facilities Services leadership in responsibilities such as programs and activities around sustainability, project management, and business continuity.
The Materials Management Associate I will assist in a variety of materials management functions; including, but not limited to, purchasing, inventory management, packaging, shipping, receiving and distribution of goods and supplies. This position will work within defined protocols and procedures.
The Senior Administrative Assistant provides support to one or more Exact Science’s departments in several ways including event planning, meeting scheduling, logistics coordination, data entry for contracts and purchase orders as well as other ad hoc administrative tasks. The function of this role enables the department to optimize technical resources to meet core business demands in the business area in which it supports.
The Senior Project Manager establishes and leads cross-functional strategic initiatives, and works with the business to follow best practices to ensure their projects meet business objectives and are accomplished on time and within budget. This role leads complex projects and requires considerable judgement and initiative. The Senior Project Manager ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.

The Associate Scientist, known internally as, Senior Research Associate II, with limited guidance from more experienced scientists, works individually or in collaboration with others on multiple projects which are moderate to complex in scope. The Senior Research Associate II plays an active role in planning of projects and experiments and is often the technical lead responsible for the successful execution of the project(s). This role is responsible for conducting benchwork experimentation, and the analysis and presentation of data. Working in a team setting, the Senior Research Associate II, will primarily be involved in Research and Development projects actively participating in translating research ideas and concepts into the product development pipeline towards development of diagnostic assay products.
The Specimen Processing Lead will support the specimen processing supervisor or designee and shares the responsibility of ensuring the specimen processing department operates effectively. This role will participate in department-wide projects and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.

This role supports the delivery of programs that create awareness and motivation around employee wellbeing and delivers tools to employees that help them adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The Wellness Specialist is responsible for administering wellness initiatives and participant communications for global wellness programming.

This includes both simple (e.g., orbital shakers) and complex (e.g., liquid handling robotics and custom automation equipment) instrumentation in the various laboratory environments. These environments may include clinical laboratories, R&D laboratories, and manufacturing and quality control laboratories. The Sr. LSE will effectively communicate relevant feedback to appropriate departments regarding the equipment and automation performance and continuously work with other LSEs and the clinical laboratory team to ensure proper instrument function and troubleshoot any system concerns.

Working on the Oncology Sales team, the Regional Oncogenomic Liaison (ROL) will develop and implement a plan to maximize the utilization of Exact Sciences’ products in targeted accounts, while staying within budget, and support the corporate objectives and highlight the delivery of key selling messages. The ROL should incorporate a high level of service toward being the best-in-class for an assay provider. The ROL’s plans are used to solve challenging problems in a dynamic environment. The plans should emphasize the need to build and maintain comprehensive relationships and develop key contact and account records in Exact Sciences’ customer relationship management (CRM) system to manage these relationships. To do this plan, the ROL must have, or be able to quickly develop, a clear understanding of key territory-related clinical/political issues. The ROL will devote whatever time is necessary to complete objectives outlined in the sales plan.
The ROL provides information critical to accomplishing the Exact Sciences’ mission to all parties involved in the sales of products. The ROL will provide direct feedback to individuals so they can make accurate decisions at all levels of the company, such as national, regional, and area teams. The ROL will work with managed care, reimbursement, patients, to include patient support groups, Exact Sciences advocacy group, and providers to ensure access to products.

The Senior Health Information Technology (HIT) Strategic Account Manager plays a leadership role in supporting and promoting health information technology initiatives to assist Organized Customers in improving CRC screening. In partnership with the account managers (SAM/NAMs), the leads will work with C/D Suite leaders to identify opportunities for optimizing the many HIT technologies (e.g., E.H.R., P.H.M., add-on Solutions) which are currently being used by health system customers in-market.
The Associate Director, Applied Data Science will lead Thrive Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)’s real world evidence (RWE) data strategy to define the strategy, perform data analysis, and communicate RWE results to various stakeholders, such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), private payers, and the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF), with the end goal of achieving broad coverage and favorable reimbursement for Thrive’s multi-cancer detection products and integrated support services.
The Associate Director, Applied Data Science will collaborate heavily with internal and external HEOR stakeholders to include key opinion leaders (KOLs) to address government, provider, payer, and internal company HEOR needs. This position will work cross-functionally to tailor RWE endpoints and messaging appropriately to the applicable stakeholders, effectively communicating and presenting complex technical concepts and quantitative analyses to both internal and external executive audiences. This position will set RWE strategies with expertise in the design and application of RWE generation projects during all phases of product life cycles, but especially in earlier phases to include premarket approval (PMA) submissions and early lifecycle coverage determinations.
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Quality Systems team with administration of Exact Sciences’ Quality Management Systems. Primary responsibilities include assessment and administration of quality document and data projects, including assurance of proper document and record control in accordance with procedures and processes and best practices. This position is required to be onsite at our Redwood City location.
The Specimen Processing Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Specimen Processing Department including staffing, scheduling, motivating, coaching and mentoring team members, and performance management. The Specimen Processing Supervisor follows all laboratory policies and procedures and maintains accurate data reporting practices to ensure consistent and diligent execution of specimen processing. In this leadership position the Specimen Processing Supervisor supports the mission and vision of Exact Sciences Laboratories, and along with the Specimen Processing Manager, shares the responsibility of ensuring the Specimen Processing department operates effectively. The functions of this position are performed under the guided direction of the Specimen Processing Manageror designee.
The Senior Software Engineer I will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting a highly visible / highly valued applications in the fast-paced, Exact Sciences Precision Oncology business unit. This individual will also contribute to the development of best practices and standards, and support product launches in all phases of software development.
This role will help enhance order management and revenue management applications. The ideal candidate will also work in Java and other latest technologies that will support our business processes.
