The Pipeline Team Leader, Senior Manager will be responsible for managing the strategy and evolution of one or more pipeline programs over their lifecycle.  Depending on where the program is in its lifecycle, the Pipeline Team Leader, Senior Manager can be responsible for a program in the early concept phase or beyond, and will be responsible for working with a core development team to bring it to market.  This position is responsible for the program definition, target product profile, intended use, market requirements (including business model), market entry roadmap, country prioritization, clinical strategies and developing a business case and overall product strategy.    The Pipeline Team Leader, Senior Manager will collaborate with a broad range of functions involved with the development and commercialization of a Pipeline Program including R&D, Clinical, IT, Operations, Program Management, Commercial Marketing and Sales, Finance, Regulatory, and Legal functions.  This position collaborates with and influences varying levels of internal and external personnel and requires a strong team-focused approach, direct interactions with customers and key opinion leaders, and high visibility presentations.  Strong business acumen and customer focus are essential to the success of this position as well as the ability to distill complex information from multiple sources into clear, compelling and actionable business cases.   The Pipeline Team Leader, Senior Manager is expected to have broad knowledge of the healthcare landscape and commercialization of products, and familiarity with the clinical and technical aspects of product development.     In particular, this Pipeline Team Leader will provide the business perspective on new products in development for our portfolio of blood collection tubes for research and clinical use.

The Accessioning Technician I is responsible for handling and recording patient and study specimens sent to Exact Sciences for testing.  Daily operations within the Accessioning department include, but not limited to; order processing, case management, sample processing, management of associated documents and records, and inter-departmental communication and collaboration.  An important part of the accessioning process is to identify incomplete or missing information and/or unacceptable specimens received, and to initiate outreach to physicians and other stakeholders for clarification in a timely manner to minimize impact on test turn-around-time.   To be successful in this role, the Accessioning Technician I must demonstrate the ability to follow standard operating procedures and work independently in a regulated work environment, the ability to complete scheduled tasks and assignments with expected quality and throughput, and function effectively as a member of the Exact Sciences team.  He or she is adaptive to change, detail oriented, focused, effective at managing time, organized and able to communicate within the department and to key internal customers to achieve common goals.  He or she will participate in process improvement activities to ensure scalability and operational excellence.  He or she will support or participate in internal and external audits and quality assurance activities to ensure laboratory compliance with the applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.   The position will report to the Accessioning Supervisor within the Laboratory Operations organization at Exact Sciences in Redwood City, CA.

In this position the Specimen Processing Trainer supports the Specimen Processing Manager and Specimen Processing Supervisor in ensuring that all Specimen Processing team members are properly and adequately trained to facilitate the timely and accurate processing of patient specimens. The Trainer will also be responsible for keeping all Specimen Processing employees up to date on lab processes and procedures through editing training materials and competencies to reflect current processes, providing follow-up conversations and retraining when necessary, and conducting training for all employees on new pieces of automation.   Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm, but based on business need may flex.
