The Senior Business Analyst on the Data and Analytics Platform at Exact Sciences will have an exemplary opportunity to influence building best in class data driven solutions for our Precision Oncology business unit. This position will perform a dual role as a Business Analyst and Product Manager as required. The role will be primarily responsible for leading business requirements elicitation, defining product features and influencing customers with a consultative approach to build right product to requirement fit while keeping long term vision in context.
We are hiring for three positions each specializing in Business Intelligence, Data Governance and Advanced Analytics data product areas respectively.
This position will lead the clinical development team that is dedicated to the development of clinical evidence strategies and plans, as well as study designs to support clinical validation and utility of IVD products. This position is responsible for developing overall department strategy for integrating cross-functionally within the organization, managing resources and timelines associated with the development team, and regular reporting on progress.
The Metrology Associate II will service custom, complex, and off-the-shelf laboratory instrumentation and equipment. This position will assemble, install, calibrate, maintain, investigate and diagnose failures, repair, requalify, and file service reports. This position will also assist in writing and reviewing calibration procedures.
This position will be located in San Diego, CA.
The Senior Administrative Assistant provides support to one or more Exact Science’s departments in several ways including event planning, meeting scheduling, logistics coordination, data entry and other administrative tasks. The function of this role enables the department to optimize technical resources to meet core business demands in the business area in which it supports.
This role will support the Business Operations leaders.
The Program Manager successfully delivers solutions to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. This role manages and leads large, high risk, high visibility, and critical projects for across the Organization. These projects are often highly complex and impact many users. This position ensures successful integration and communication between multiple projects. This is a hands-on role that requires close collaboration with all levels of Exact Sciences.
This Program Manager will support the Research and Development enabling function within our complex IVD products and programs, which include systems, assays, reagents, instruments, and software. The position will manage the Next-Gen Sequencing (NGS) product development programs and ensure compliance with product development design controls. The Program Manager will partner with leads in Marketing, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Exact Sciences Laboratories, Technical Services, and Operations, among others to ensure cross-functional coordination and timely delivery of new products.
The Senior Accountant position creates financial transactions and creates financial reports from that information, but is also responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Senior Accountant also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy and completeness. The Senior Accountant acts as a mentor for more junior accounting staff. In addition, the Senior Accountant assists with establishing policies and procedures for purchasing and financial reporting and helps maintain the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 compliance.
The specific focus of this role is consolidations and foreign currency remeasurement. As a senior accountant in this role, you will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day activities related to the worldwide consolidation of the company’s subsidiaries and the foreign currency remeasurement process.
The Senior Systems Hardware Engineer works with the Systems Development team to design, develop, and test customized instruments, automation equipment, and consumables to be used in the laboratory environment or field. This position will lead the hardware design architecture and development, test methodology and strategy, design trade-offs, cost-benefit analyses, and quality decisions. This position will be responsible for project management activities; including scheduling, documentation, parts procurement, and BOM (Bill of Material) management.
The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Exact Sciences Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Programs. The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will primarily support Precision Oncology at our Redwood City location by creating and implementing policies, procedures, and training, and monitoring workplace practices and activities with leadership oversight to ensure that employees abide by company policies and government safety regulations. The position ensures laboratory compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), College of American Pathologists (CAP) and other Federal, State, and Local agencies, as necessary.
Exact Sciences is seeking a Technical Services Specialist to join the Technical Service and Support Team. The successful candidate will help create training materials, processes, and systems that will ensure efficient introduction and successful ongoing use of Exact Sciences in vitro diagnostic (IVD) and Lab Developed (LDT) products by customer laboratories worldwide. He or she will provide internal and external (customer) training, technical support, and will participate in monitoring of performance and customer experience with these IVD and LDT products. These activities can be conducted both at Exact facilities, as well as in customer facilities. The successful candidate will respond to customer inquiries and complaints regarding product performance, troubleshooting customer issues, and ensuring that all customer concerns are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. The Technical Services Specialist will collaborate closely with Operations, R&D, Sales, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Product Lifecycle Management, and other departments to achieve these objectives.

The Systems Software Engineer I works with the Systems Development team to assist in the design, development, and testing software used in medical devices. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development of internal software tools used in R&D, service, or quality control.
The Systems Software Engineer I may also assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical controls, electrical interfaces, and printed circuit board assemblies.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will facilitate contract implementation and revenue pull-through activities, both proactive and reactive, with internal and external parties. This position will ensure the public and private payer reimbursement and that billing and payment processes are efficient, timely, and in compliance with corporate goals, contracts and/or regulations. This position will facilitate and manage contract implementation for operations and partner with Managed Care to develop and maintain agreements that provide medical providers and patients with access to our assays while aligning with Exact Sciences goals and objectives.
The Pipette Technician is responsible for performing calibration, maintenance, and repair on pipetting devices including, but not limited to, single and multi-channel pipettes, bottle top dispensers, and repeater pipettes. This role will demonstrate a high level of organization, the ability to multitask, and build trust with internal and external customers.
This position is part of the Clinical Affairs team, which is responsible for planning, executing, managing, and closing projects associated with the company clinical study plans, with primary responsibility for management of Clinical Affairs staff. The Senior Manager, Clinical Affairs works as a part of the Clinical Affairs Leadership team to accomplish department objectives by managing staff, planning, and evaluating department activities. This position provides leadership and support to members of multidisciplinary project teams, both internally and externally, and provides professional development and guidance to assigned Clinical Affairs personnel. This person serves as the conduit of operational duties for Medical Affairs, Data Management, Biostats, Medical Communication, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Service. This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Oncology post-marketing investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and collaborative studies.
The Mission of the Precision Oncology Business Unit of Exact Sciences is to transform treatment decisions and outcomes in cancer by delivering clinically actionable diagnostics, both as in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) devices and as Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) conducted in our Redwood City Clinical Laboratory. The Senior Laboratory Automation Engineer will provide technical expertise to drive continuous improvement of our state-of-the-art diagnostic tests for cancer patients.
The Process Engineering team is a multidisciplinary group of engineers with backgrounds in mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering. The Senior Laboratory Automation Engineer work will focus on designing, building, and optimizing integrated laboratory automation systems. The process engineering team has direct involvement throughout the lifecycle of our automation development; including design, build, test, launch, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be a key member on project teams developing integrated systems laboratory automation, ensuring their efficient and effective transfer into production, and will also contribute to ongoing improvements of existing commercialized processes and products.
The Senior Clinical Data Manager/Analyst II is responsible for ensuring the accurate, complete, and timely collection and delivery of assay/genomic and clinical data for analysis, reporting, and presentation. The Senior Clinical Data Manager/Analyst II acts as Lead Data Manager on complex clinical studies and projects; either independently or by directing others, provide expert BDM functional representation to study teams.

The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs and preventive maintenance. Supported systems and equipment will be facility related mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, control systems, and equipment located within office, R&D, GMP and Clinical locations. The Maintenance Technician will provide support to ongoing process and procedure improvement and may also assist in a backup capacity to the Senior Maintenance Technician in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, repairs and maintenance and assisting with projects and on-call coverage.
The Research Scientist I, with limited guidance from more experienced scientists, works individually and in collaboration with others on multiple projects which are moderate to complex in scope. The Research Scientist I plays an active role in planning of projects and experiments and is often the technical lead responsible for the successful execution of the project. This position involves independently making detailed observations, analyzing data and interpreting results. Working in a team setting, the Research Scientist I, will primarily be involved in Research and Development projects serving as a technical lead in translating research ideas and concepts into the product development pipeline towards development of diagnostic assay products.
The Research Scientist I position will conduct experiments that include performing and analyzing data from assay and methods development to support validation testing required for NGS-based pipelines and products. This position will require proficiency in NGS sample prep, primary analysis, and implementation of genomic analysis tool kits. This position will be focused on projects to support the development of blood-based assays and devices for diagnostic use.
The Senior Quality Associate will be the lead in a variety of Quality functions such as Enterprise Quality Management System (EQMS), change management activities, training, and other functions as assigned to support the Quality team. This role will lead activities related to administering and managing Exact Sciences’ Quality System and providing support to other functions as assigned.
The Specimen Processing Technical Specialist provides services of a technical nature in the laboratory areas. This position is responsible for supporting the coordination of day-to-day activities in the laboratory to ensure prompt test processing. The Specimen Processing Technical Specialist is the front line in trouble shooting. The position works directly with the Specimen Processing Manager to anticipate and resolve issues related to efficiencies in throughput, staffing, and laboratory processes. The Specimen Processing Technical Specialist will maintain accurate data reporting practices to ensure consistent and diligent execution of specimen processing.

The Digital Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting metrics for all Digital programs/channels to ensure teams and Executives understand the performance and impact of these efforts. You will dive into web analytics and clickstream data to ascertain performance and uncover opportunities for site experience optimization. You will be responsible for identifying, measuring, and monitoring key performance indictors (KPIs) and will develop data driven recommendations that drive growth. You will also enable stakeholders with actionable, insightful measurement and performance reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will be familiar with a wide range of site analytics tools like Google Analytics and how to use them to drive marketing performance. You will also have a robust mix of technical and communication skills, as well as strong data storytelling and data visualization abilities. The Digital Marketing Analytics Manager will collaborate with other Global Digital Solutions team members, as well as with other groups within Exact Sciences in a variety of projects, providing recommendations on how to best use data to unlock insights.
