The Histotechnologist II will perform a variety of histology laboratory procedures used to produce tissue slides and support the general laboratory duties expected to be performed in a CLIA/CAP-certified histopathology laboratory. The Histotechnologist II shall adhere to all safety, quality controls, and procedures, and learn and perform all functions of histology, pathology, and molecular aspects needed in the laboratory.
This laboratory opportunity will be for Tuesday-Saturday.
The Senior Biomedical Data Engineer I is responsible for ensuring the accurate, complete, and timely collection, delivery, and tracking of data from Research, Commercial, and Manufacturing laboratories for analysis, reporting, and presentation. This person is also responsible for supporting a collaborative environment that promotes positive teamwork where all members are working for the good of Exact Sciences. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding analytical thinking, collaboration, and communication.
This role requires a wide range of experience in multiple areas of expertise including Bioinformatics pipeline development and analysis, Data Engineering, Computer Programming, and Database Management. This position uses a variety of programming languages, tools, and databases to compile and present accurate datasets. The candidate should be self-motivated, organized, and be able to manage their own projects with minimal supervision, and be able to provide supervised leadership and functional expertise for development, study, and process teams.
In addition, this position will share responsibility for
- Supporting occasional Bioinformatics (RNA-Seq, BS-Seq) software development activities.
- Using Python / R / SAS to provide custom data engineering solutions, upon request.
- Support the development of web server application infrastructure as needed by the group.
- Assist with managing databases used by the BSDE group.
- Managing Tableau dashboards for data visualization.
- Create and maintain proper documentation as required by departmental standard operating procedures and practices or regulations.
This role can be located in our Redwood City, CA office or will consider Remote within the US.
The Associate Director, Product Lifecycle Management – GEM ExTra is responsible for product management and lifecycle strategy of GEM ExTra, a whole exome and whole transcriptome sequencing product for therapy selection. This position is responsible for the product definition, intended use, market/stakeholder requirements, market entry roadmap, and marketing strategies of on-market products to enable continued growth and evolution over its lifecycle. The Associate Director, Product Lifecycle Management – GEM ExTra will identify indication expansion opportunities, develop product enhancement roadmaps, build business cases, develop evidence generation strategies, and prioritize investments. This position will also be responsible for product management tactics; including, but not limited to, implementation of test requisition forms, seamless integration of new products into the order-to-reports infrastructure, report design and updates, management of specimen collection and transport kit boxes, and execution of product enhancements/ expansions. This position will accomplish these strategic and tactical tasks by relying on a deep understanding and knowledge of customer needs, market trends, and competitive pressures, as well as establish short and long-term objectives and plans that transform the product strategy into clear measurable results.
In addition, this position is responsible for the development and executions of strategic and tactical marketing plans to support our Biopharma business development (BD) team and BioPharma customers for WES/ WTS products (research use only (RUO) and investigational use only (IUO)). This includes, but is not limited to, product launch planning and execution, brand marketing, product positioning, messaging, promotional programs and campaigns, collateral development, website content, tradeshow/ conference planning, and budget management.

The Software Engineer II will be integral to the design and development of software for Exact Sciences. A Software Engineer II focuses on improving software design, collaborating with and mentoring their peers and junior team members, and effectively communicates with other representatives of the business. The engineer creates, tests, and evaluates software applications and systems to make computers function according to specific requirements. This person must be able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver software products to the business.
This Program Manager will support the Research and Development enabling function within our complex IVD products and programs, which include systems, assays, reagents, instruments, and software. The position will manage product development programs and ensure compliance with product development design controls. The Program Manager will partner with leads in Marketing, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Exact Sciences Laboratories, Technical Services, and Operations, among others to ensure cross-functional coordination and timely delivery of new products. Previous design control experience is critical to success of this role.
The Senior Laboratory Support Services Quality Specialist supports Exact Sciences Laboratories, Laboratory Support Services (LSS) Teams, and the Laboratory Support Services Quality Specialists (LSSQS) to ensure processes are providing the highest quality outcomes. This position will review work performed by various functions of the LSS areas to make sure that quality is measured and that compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) is ensured. This role work with members of area leadership and training teams, as necessary, to identify opportunities for improvement through root cause evaluation and present reporting to aid in decision making. As duties require exposure to individual performance data and internal departmental processes, the maintenance of confidentiality is essential.
The Manager, Laboratory Service Training will lead the lab service training team in the development, coordination, and execution of all training-related activities across multiple sites. This role will manage a team of lab service training leaders and support the day-to-day operations and development of the team. This role will be responsible for the overall development and execution of the Exact Sciences Laboratories training program; including, but not limited to, new hire onboarding, training, retraining, corrective actions, processing, and updating training materials and documentation. The Manager, Laboratory Service Training is responsible for the creation and/or approval and maintenance of in-house training programs; including, but not limited to, the development, coordination, and execution of learning plans and strategies.
The SAP Operations Master Data Specialist is a critical role in the maintenance of master data for Exact Sciences. This role supports existing business and new product development projects by identifying, defining, and cleansing business critical data that drives the planning, manufacturing, and purchasing processes. This role also documents processes and develops subject matter experts (SMEs) within various operations functional areas. The SAP Operations Master Data Specialist also supports ongoing process improvement projects related to SAP for the operations function of Exact Sciences.

The Supervisor, Accounts Payable assists in the ongoing development and performance of the accounts payable team. This role will be the subject matter expert in the accounts payable process and provide continuous support to the team members. The primary responsibilities include providing supervision, hiring, training, coaching, managing, and assigning workloads, and handling escalated concerns. The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will use cross-functional collaboration as an integral part of success in this role.
The Laboratory Service Engineer II (LSE II) is responsible for the service and support of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair. This includes both simple (e.g., orbital shakers) and complex (e.g., liquid handling robotics.) instrumentation in the various laboratory environments. These environments may include clinical laboratories, R&D laboratories, and manufacturing and quality control laboratories. The individual in this role will continuously work with other Lab Service Engineers (LSE) and the laboratory teams to ensure proper instrument function and to troubleshoot any system concerns. The Training and Development Technical Training Designer has a strong eye for visual design and will create learning solutions that meet the needs of the modern learner, incorporate the best of design thinking, and deliver learning via the most effective media. This role will work with training and development leadership to take direction on design projects, requirements, and work with various subject matter experts (SMEs) to execute. This position supports design for all training sub teams; including, but not limited to, Patient Support, Provider Support, Laboratory Support Services, Billing, Technical Laboratory, Specimen Processing, and Service Training.
The Research Scientist II, with limited guidance from more experienced scientists, works individually and in collaboration with others on multiple projects which are moderate to complex in scope. The Research Scientist II plays an active role or leads in the planning of projects and experiments, and is often the technical lead responsible for the successful execution of the project. This position involves independently making detailed observations, analyzing data, interpreting results, and providing insights into the next steps of the project.
Working in a team setting, the Research Scientist II will be involved in Research and Development projects serving as a technical lead or a subject matter expert in translating research ideas and concepts into the product development pipeline towards development of diagnostic assay products.
The Professional Medical Representative is responsible for creating and winning Exact Sciences sales opportunities in an assigned territory. The Professional Medical Representative is responsible to establish and continuously develop the relationship with primary customer targets (Primary Care and Family Practice physicians) in their assigned territories and where applicable, work in conjunction with Sales and Market Access and Reimbursement colleagues to gain access to executive-level decision makers. This position reports to the Area Manager.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This includes creating financial transactions and reports from that information. The Staff Accountant will evaluate transactions for proper classification and making decisions regarding the posting of the transactions. The Staff Accountant reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy, assists with establishing policies and procedures for financial reporting, and helps maintain the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 compliance.
These Staff Accountant roles will provide support to the small subsidiary and fixed asset teams.

This position will be part of the Clinical Affairs Team, which is responsible for executing, managing and conducting projects associated with the company clinical study plans. The Sr. CRA is responsible for site management deliverables on assigned protocols. With minimal supervision, the Sr. CRA manages the clinical monitoring activities of the study and assures site compliance with study protocols and applicable regulations and assists the Clinical Study Manager with study related activities, as required. The Sr. CRA may act as a lead CRA for the Sponsor.
