The Senior Bioinformatics Scientist is a creative person whose role includes planning, design, implementation, and support of on-premise and in-the-cloud complex enterprise infrastructure, with a focus on cloud-based analysis of next-generation sequencing data for biomarker discovery and product development.
This role will conduct optimization and implementation algorithms and tools into next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis pipelines. The candidate should be experienced with NGS data analysis, algorithm development, and bioinformatics programming with Python. Strong computational, mathematical, logical skills, and proven project experience with large genomic datasets are essential. This position will interact with the teams in the R&D, Information Technology, and Clinical departments. Good oral and written communication skills are required.
Some of the key functions for this role include organizing data for ready access, collaborating with biostatisticians to distribute computational workload, networking, data storage systems, virtual and physical servers’ infrastructure, information systems, and archiving; and evaluates existing network and systems to understand capabilities and recommend solutions. This position will provide technical leadership of network and systems integration projects and will Identify and resolves existing network deficiencies. The candidate will work with a team of R&D bioinformatics experts to discover, develop, and deploy advanced medical diagnostics tests based on NGS and other modern technologies.
The Senior Customer Service Representative is the primary contact for processing all incoming orders and inquiries via telephone and email. Handles issues to be escalated. Leads communication with customers as needed to ensure superior customer experience regarding their inquiries and fulfillment of orders. This role plays a critical role in building customer relationships and representing the organization.

The Director of Marketing – Strategic Accounts is accountable for leading, developing, and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans for Precision Oncology’s targeted customer groups identified as strategic accounts. This role will be the strategic owner of portfolio marketing messages to high value accounts and health systems. Strong collaboration and excellent networking skills are needed for this position as the Director of Marketing – Strategic Accounts will be responsible for developing the strategic business plan to grow the strategic accounts business. This will require a consistent commitment to collaborating with the extended Strategic Accounts team and numerous colleagues across the company, as well as external audiences, to develop commercial growth strategies for the key accounts and health systems identified.
While this role is initially an individual contributor role, it is anticipated this leader will build out a marketing team as the strategic accounts business expands. The successful candidate will have a successful track record of managing a best-in-class team of marketeers in the diagnostics/life sciences market and have in-depth experience marketing to strategic accounts.
The Director of Marketing – Strategic Accounts will drive the strategy, concept, and development of marketing initiatives, marketing materials/events, vendor relationships, build key customer account relationships/KOLS, website content, and various other promotional projects/programs for this business segment. This individual will be required to participate on cross-functional teams consisting of colleagues from Sales, Medical Affairs, Product Marketing, Marketing Effectiveness & Omnichannel Engagement, Global Digital Solutions, Product Lifecycle Management & Strategy, Commercial Learning, Customer Service, Market Access, IT, Finance, Medical Communications, Corporate Communications, etc. There is also an opportunity to partner with our colleagues in the Screening Business Unit in order to leverage the Cologuard product and their strategic accounts expertise/best practices. This individual will also be responsible for creating and gaining alignment on the overall brand plan along with the annual operating budget for the strategic accounts team and programs.
Success in this position will require an expertise in strategic marketing vision, driving multiple competing priorities/initiatives to completion and a passion to serve Precision Oncology patients. Competitive candidates will possess relevant experience in oncology, brand marketing, with a demonstrated ability to master complex scientific material and convey these concepts in a clear and compelling manner. The function of this role enables the department to optimize technical resources to meet core business demands in the business area in which it supports. The Senior Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to local upper Management and offsite Leadership, the facility, and other departments as needed.

The Specimen Processing Exception Handler follows all laboratory procedures and policies and maintains accurate data reporting practices as needed to ensure consistent and diligent execution of specimen processing, testing and the timely generation of patient results.
The Associate Lead, Laboratory Processing (known internally as Laboratory Processing Workflow Coorinator) performs the functions of Specimen Processing under the guided direction of the Specimen Processing Supervisor, Lead or designee. The Specimen Processing Workflow Coordinator follows laboratory policies and procedures and maintains accurate data reporting practices to ensure consistent and diligent execution of specimen processing. In this support position the Specimen Processing Workflow Coordinator ensures daily lab operations are effective and efficient by providing direction and guidance to employees during their assigned duty station.
The hours for this position are Saturday - Monday from 6:00pm - 6:30am.
The Supervisor, Molecular Lab is responsible for the general supervision of the laboratory personnel and the daily operations of the Molecular Laboratory. The Supervisor, Molecular Lab may also perform high complexity laboratory testing on patient specimens, interpret and report patient results, and perform quality control and quality assurance procedures while complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laboratory requirements.
The high complexity nature of the work requires excellent attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be flexible with tasks and schedules, and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
The Supervisor, Molecular Lab will often be the first point of contact for Molecular Technologists and Laboratory Assistants during laboratory processing and will provide guidance while troubleshooting complex problems. The Supervisor, Molecular Lab must also act as a liaison between the Molecular Technicians and Laboratory Assistants, the Technical Supervisor, support departments, and senior management. As such, the Supervisor, Molecular Lab must exhibit leadership skills such as good judgment, sound analysis and decision making, the ability to remain professional and composed under pressure, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the laboratory and across departments.
The Supervisor, Molecular Lab will also be involved with scheduling, troubleshooting high complexity technical and non-technical problems, coaching and mentoring the laboratory staff, building effective teams, managing projects and meeting project deliverables, and understanding and implementing laboratory goals. Given the wide variety of tasks involved in this position, the Supervisor, Molecular Lab must demonstrate the ability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions in a timely manner, commitment to helping and motivating employees, the ability to respond to difficult issues quickly, fairly, and ethically, outstanding organizational skills, the ability to respond to change with flexibility and to adapt quickly to evolving circumstances, and excellent communication skills, including utilizing various communication channels (team meetings, one on one etc.), proactively communicating team goals and priorities clearly, openly and objectively, and communicating changes, issues, and challenges in all directions of the organization.

The Senior Research Associate I participates in planning of projects and experiments and is responsible for the execution of experiments and analysis of data. Working in a team setting, the Senior Research Associate I will primarily be involved in Research and Development projects actively participating in translating research ideas and concepts into the product development pipeline towards development of diagnostic assay products.
This position will primarily be involved in developing new products within the product development pipeline and/or improving existing products.

The Senior Research Associate II participates in planning of projects and experiments and is responsible for the execution of experiments and analysis of data. The Research Associate II roles will primarily be involved in NGS-based projects.

The Director, Clinical Biostatistics is able to influence decisions within and outside the company relating to design and analysis of clinical studies and interpretation of data; effectively negotiates schedules and critical priorities with senior level management, colleagues from other functions, and external collaborators; contributes to the resolution of high impact issues within and outside of Exact Sciences, most frequently in the role of content expert; and may represent Exact Sciences as a prime internal and external contact on major operational issues.

The Senior Research Scientist I, with input from senior scientists and leaders, works in collaboration with others on one or more projects which are complex in scope. The Senior Research Scientist I participates in or leads planning of projects and experiments, and is often the technical lead responsible for the successful execution of the project. This position involves independently making detailed observations, analyzing data, interpreting results and providing insights into the next steps and direction of the project, as well as independently determining methods and procedures on new assignments or projects.
Working in a team setting, the Senior Research Scientist I will be involved in Research and Development projects serving as a technical lead and/or a subject matter expert in next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, providing ideas and concepts to improve or develop processes, and/or establish methods and processes for product development towards development of diagnostic assay products. This position will also mentor and provide technical guidance to junior scientists in project teams.
The Senior Research Scientist I will participate in development activities with responsibilities that include conducting benchwork experimentation, data analysis, and will primarily be involved in NGS-based projects.
The GI Specialist is responsible for the effective promotion of Exact Sciences’ products in an assigned territory. The GI Specialist is to establish and continuously develop the relationship with gastroenterology physicians and their practices, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), Multi-Specialty clinics, and other healthcare providers (HCPs) within the designated territory, and where applicable, work in conjunction with Sales and Market Access and Reimbursement colleagues to gain access to executive-level and clinical decision makers.
This position is field based.
The Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory Quality Control works with the Clinical Laboratory Manager to coordinate, develop and communicate the Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs of the clinical laboratory. This position works collaboratively with the Quality Assurance team to coordinate and ensure the proper execution of proficiency testing, non-conforming event tracking, including escalation, root cause analysis, risk assessments. This position collaborates with the technology transfer group to ensure all aspects of new tests and enhancements are appropriately executed. Additionally, they will work with all managers and supervisors to ensure workflow enhancements including IT, automation and employee suggestions are evaluated and adopted as appropriate. The position, as necessary, performs complex laboratory tests in the clinical laboratory to provide physicians with rapid and accurate laboratory test results.

The Senior Molecular Lab Technologist, internally known as Senior Clinical Lab Technologist, will be a member of the clinical laboratory’s high complexity Testing Personnel as defined by CLIA. The Sr Clinical Lab Technician will isolate and quantify nucleic acids, perform PCR and Next Gen Sequencing, library construction and other associated procedures. This individual will participate in the preparation, ongoing improvement, and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for patient sample testing and the creation of associated records. This individual may be asked to perform a minor subset of functions to potentially include logistics and bio-banking tasks such as biospecimen receipt, shipping, handling, and LIMS-tracked storage. This position assists with performing routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
This laboratory opportunity will be for Tuesday-Saturday, 1-2pm shift

This position will investigate issues through trending, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, working closely with R&D, Quality, and Operations to design, develop, and implement corrective actions through use of the Quality Management System. This role will also have responsibility for supporting Operations teams in method development, new product introduction, and continuous improvement efforts. This role may also provide direct leadership oversight for a role or small team.
