The Senior Process Validation Engineer will provide leadership and expertise in validation and configuration management for the state-of-the-art clinical laboratory and manufacturing facility.   This position will play an influential and leading role in ensuring that laboratory systems are installed, operate, and perform as specified; including ensuring that all laboratory processes are capable of reliably and repeatedly producing products of the required quality. The Lead Laboratory Service Engineer provides leadership support and workflow guidance to the service engineering staff. This person is the troubleshooting point person for escalated, equipment related issues. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing Instrument and Automation Services (IAS) department workflow during their scheduled shift and ensuring day to day activities in the laboratory are sufficiently covered for the laboratory’s equipment needs. The Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory directs the technical day-to-day laboratory operations, under the direction of the Director of Laboratory Operations (or designee); including, but not limited to, the general technical supervision and development of laboratory staff, assure quality standards are met, provide technical expertise to the laboratory, and serve as the liaison to various internal and external entities, as needed. The Senior Accountant position creates financial transactions and creates financial reports from that information, but is also responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Senior Accountant also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy and completeness.  In addition, the Senior Accountant assists with establishing policies and procedures for purchasing and financial reporting and helps maintain the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 compliance.   This Senior Accountant role will be a part of the Technical Accounting and Special Projects team. Responsibilities may include purchase accounting, the accounting for intangible assets, and the accounting for non-marketable investments. Additionally, this role may assist with ad-hoc technical accounting research and analysis as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to and interpret new situations with an attention to detail in order to reach the correct conclusions.
